Sample Letters

Attached are three sample letters. Two letters are thank you letters for after an interview and the third is a thank you letter for someone who has offered their help in introducing you to others.

A great way to build a relationship with a potential employer is to introduce yourself in writing and follow-up with a letter recapping your interview. Letters should be typed on white paper and signed by hand. Letters are better than e-mail because they add a personal touch, showing that you spent time crafting and delivering the message.

Feel free to use these sample letters as a first step toward writing your letter, but make sure that someone proofreads the letter for style, grammar, and spelling before you send it. All letters should be sent within the same week that you had your interview or meeting.
